Kim Victoria Cattrall, born on the 21st of August, 1956 in London in London, is the daughter of a British and Canadian actress from Canada and the UK. She was best known for her character Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. In this role, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award for 2002 for Best Female Supporting actress. Samantha Jones reprised her role in the film Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010).
